About Jonathan E. McMeen, Esq.

Jonathan McMeen was born and raised in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. After graduating from Mountain Lakes High School in 1995, he started a landscaping contracting business that provided full landscape services for homeowners in his community. Jon continued to build up his business and accumulate many satisfied customers in the Morris County area while attending Lafayette College and studying economics.

After graduating from Lafayette College in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree, an opportunity arose to attend law school. It was truly the great financial success of Jon's contracting company that allowed him the opportunity to successfully attend and graduate from the Quinnipiac School of Law. Jon even maintained his company while attending law school. In 2003, Jon passed the New Jersey State Bar Exam. After a short stint in the corporate world, Jon returned to his landscape company, with an emphasis on expansion into new markets in the state. Jon ran his landscaping company during the spring, summer and fall seasons while practicing law during the winters. This allowed him to balance his interests in both law and business.

Jon is fully devoted to the practice of law. After many years of handling many types of legal matters heard in Municipal Courts throughout New Jersey, Jon has gained significant hands-on experience in effectively handling traffic related matters, specifically in regards to DWI cases. Jon has both formal training in DWI representation and experience in this area of the law.
